The municipality of Leganés is gearing up for a new edition of the Lunas del Egaleo throughout July, with a free lineup headlined by Modestia Aparte, Reincidentes, and Zenet.

Summer nights in Leganés will once again resonate with live music, outdoor cinema, and family entertainment thanks to the new edition of the Lunas del Egaleo. The festival, taking place entirely at the Teatro Egaleo during July, will offer a diverse program with free admission until the 1,500-person capacity is reached.
This year's festival will feature performances by renowned artists such as Modestia Aparte, Reincidentes, and Zenet. Additionally, audiences can enjoy shows by Vicky Gastelo and Marta Soto, supported by emerging local talents like Claudia León and Irenne. The lineup also includes tribute acts to musical legends like Héroes del Silencio, Hombres G, Leño, and Joaquín Sabina.
The mayor of Leganés, Miguel Ángel Recuenco, emphasized the historical significance of the Teatro Egaleo as a cultural landmark for thousands of residents over four decades, recalling past performances by artists like Pablo Alborán and Danza Invisible.
The musical program kicks off on July 4th with Reincidentes, followed by Modestia Aparte on July 5th. Jazz and singer-songwriter genres will be represented by Zenet on July 25th. Female voices will have a prominent space with Vicky Gastelo on July 11th and Marta Soto on July 18th.
As is tradition, Thursdays will be dedicated to family-friendly outdoor cinema, featuring titles such as Paddington, Beetlejuice, and the upcoming Superman film. Musical tributes will include homages to Héroes del Silencio ('Oración'), Hombres G ('Los Geiperman'), Leño ('La Leñera'), and Joaquín Sabina ('Arrivederci Lola').
Mercedes Neria, the culture councilor, highlighted that the return of the Lunas del Egaleo after a three-year hiatus is consolidated with this edition, offering free culture for all audiences. All shows will begin at 10:15 PM, with doors opening at 9:15 PM, except for the opening acts which will start an hour earlier.
Tickets can be reserved weekly starting the Monday of each event week, at 11:00 AM, through the Giglón platform.
