The Aranjuez City Council has unveiled the main musical performances for the Fiestas del Motín 2026, scheduled from September 2nd to 6th. The program, declared of International Tourist Interest, aims to offer five days of music, tradition, and leisure in the heart of the city, combining national artists, tribute bands, orchestras, and DJ sets.
Plaza de San Antonio (Mariblanca) is once again a main musical stage, alongside Plaza de la Constitución and Calle de las Infantas, allowing for easy movement between concerts. Late-night entertainment will be held at Raso de la Estrella, a space chosen for its safety and larger capacity.
Performances will kick off on Thursday, September 3rd, with the traditional Fiestas Proclamation by José Luis Salcedo Nieto ‘Pepín’. Following this, the Orquesta Atlántida will perform in Plaza de la Constitución, accompanied by a DJ set.
On Friday, September 4th, Plaza de la Constitución will host Boseido, a tribute band to Miguel Bosé, at 10:00 PM. At 11:00 PM, La Pegatina will perform in Plaza de San Antonio. The musical offerings are expanded with the Orquesta Loriens on Calle de las Infantas (1:00 AM) and DJ sets at Raso de la Estrella (12:00 AM).
On Saturday, September 5th, Jaime Urrutia (Gabinete Caligari) will give a concert in Plaza de la Constitución at 10:00 PM. At midnight, Argentine singer-songwriter Coti will perform in Plaza de San Antonio. The Orquesta Exilum will play on Calle de las Infantas (1:00 AM), while Raso de la Estrella will host another DJ set starting at 12:00 AM.
The stage distribution focuses activity in the center of Aranjuez, providing a convenient experience for residents and visitors. The Aranjuez City Council has expressed gratitude to Patrimonio Nacional for authorizing the use of Plaza de San Antonio.
