The Civil Guard intercepted over 25 kilograms of nitrous oxide, known as laughing gas, in a vehicle during an operation carried out in Humanes de Madrid on May 14.

The operation, conducted by agents from the USECIC of the Madrid Civil Guard Command, focused on the vicinity of a nightlife area after suspicious movements were detected. During the vehicle inspection, officers located 21 canisters of the gas, allegedly intended for distribution.
In addition to the nitrous oxide, officers found various narcotic substances, including cocaine, hashish, speed, and tussi, along with nearly 650 euros in cash. The intervention resulted in the arrest of two men, aged 32 and 52, for an alleged crime against public health.
A third man, aged 28, remains under investigation for his alleged involvement in transporting the canisters. Authorities are keeping the investigation open to determine the full extent of this illicit activity and the final destination of the seized substances.
