A fire declared this Saturday in a grassland area next to an industrial warehouse in Ciempozuelos mobilized 13 crews from the Community of Madrid Fire Department, and was brought under control hours later with no injuries reported.

The fire, which began around 4:50 PM, originated in a pasture area near a facility dedicated to aluminum extrusion. Fanned by strong winds, the flames ended up affecting various materials stored outside the warehouse.
The affected company is located in an industrial park near kilometer 32 of the A-4 highway, heading into Madrid. Responding crews worked intensely to control the fire's spread and prevent it from reaching other parts of the warehouse.
During the operation, SUMMA deployed a preventive medical team. Fortunately, no one required medical attention, and there were no reported injuries or intoxications.
