The Teatro Real Carlos III in Aranjuez will launch its new season on September 26th with a program featuring theater, music, dance, and cinema.

The new cultural season at the Teatro Real Carlos III in Aranjuez will commence on September 26th, offering a diverse program that combines performing arts and cinema. This initiative stems from an agreement between the Aranjuez City Council and the Community of Madrid.
The opening will feature the play ‘Esencia’, starring actors Juan Echanove and Joaquín Climent. The program will continue with productions such as ‘Carmen, nada de nadie’, focusing on the figure of Carmen Díez de Rivera, and the musical comedy ‘La Desconquista’ by Ron Lalá.
Music and dance will also play a significant role. On October 17th, the ‘Gala Especial Suma Flamenca Joven’, a world premiere, will bring together young flamenco talents. The Festival de Música Antigua (Early Music Festival) will feature performances like ‘In Dulci Jubilo’ by Fahmi Alghai & Academia del Piacere on October 18th, and ‘Azul de Prusia’ on October 24th.
Local productions will also have their space. On October 29th and 30th, the theater will host ‘Beetlejuice’, by the company Asociación Cultural Telón Aparte, which received awards at the PREMIOFF 2026 awards. The performances of this musical will benefit the Juanjo Torrejón Foundation.
Starting in November, the theater will incorporate film screenings, thus expanding its cultural offerings. The cinema program will be announced shortly.
Furthermore, the Teatro Real Carlos III plans to provide rehearsal rooms for theater companies and musical groups, fostering the development of local and school artistic projects.
Tickets for the various shows are already available online at www.teatrorealaranjuez.es and at the box office from Thursday, September 17th.
