The Teatro Buero Vallejo in Alcorcón will host this Saturday, May 30th, the official presentation of “La heredera del éter”, the new fantasy novel by writer Amanda Azpiri. The work, which began its journey on the Wattpad platform, now makes the leap to print, fulfilling one of its author's greatest dreams.
The event will take place at 6:30 PM in the theater's auditorium, located on Calle Los Robles. The presentation is organized with the collaboration of the 100 Miradas Writers Association and the use of the space provided by the municipality's Culture Department. Following the event, attendees will have the opportunity for a book signing.
Azpiri has shared her excitement about seeing a story she started writing during her high school years published. "I started writing this story in high school, snatching moments between notes. It all began on Wattpad, that refuge where so many young people start dreaming and writing," the author stated on Instagram. The novel was also a finalist in the shortlist of the Wattys 2021, a prestigious literary competition on the platform.

“La heredera del éter” is a young adult fantasy novel that blends adventure, magic, friendship, and romance. The plot follows Selina, a young woman whose life takes a radical turn after discovering secrets surrounding her existence, forcing her to confront a war between elemental peoples and embrace a destiny tied to an ancient staff of power.
A notable aspect of the project is that all the interior illustrations for the book have been created by Amanda Azpiri herself. "I am incredibly excited to tell you that I have put all my care into it: absolutely all the interior illustrations of the book are mine," she announced on her social media. The author has also expressed gratitude for the support of her editor.
