The Ciempozuelos City Council has opened the application period for the second call for aid aimed at commercial reactivation and urban environment improvement, available until September 8th.

The main objective of these subsidies is twofold: on one hand, to promote the reactivation of commercial premises, either for their reopening or to attract new business activities; and on the other, to improve the urban image of Ciempozuelos by decorating the facades of closed or undeveloped premises, thus addressing situations of degradation.
Luis Pueyo, Councilor for Commerce, highlighted the importance of this aid: “We want this aid to reach as many businesses as possible, both those that are active and those that are not. Local commerce is one of the pillars of the economy of Ciempozuelos, and that is why we are launching these grants again.” The aid is divided into three specific lines.
Line 1 is aimed at properties registered as commercial premises or sports facilities that are currently active. Line 2 focuses on commercial or restaurant premises that will not be active during the years 2025 and 2026. Finally, Line 3 supports the temporary cession of facades of commercial or restaurant premises, also inactive in 2025 and 2026, with the aim of beautifying the urban landscape.
The subsidy can cover up to 100% of the eligible expenses, with a maximum limit of €1200 for lines 1 and 2, and €1000 for line 3. Applicants can only choose one of these lines.
The required documentation, which can be found at the end of the official page, must be submitted in person at the City Council's Registry or electronically through the electronic headquarters.
