The Aranjuez City Council has approved the renovation of a municipal property located in the Barrio de la Montaña to convert it into a new community use center.

The building, situated at the intersection of Tarraco Street and Paz de Hiroshima Avenue, will undergo a comprehensive transformation. Currently in a raw state, the 117.40 square meter space will be adapted to host workshops, meetings, and neighborhood activities.
The project includes interior layout changes, the opening of new facade sections to improve natural lighting and ventilation, and the installation of essential infrastructure. This covers electricity, plumbing, HVAC, telecommunications, and sewage systems, alongside thermal insulation upgrades.
The project, with a budget of 157,550.54 euros, is funded by the 2022-2026 Regional Investment Program (PIR) of the Community of Madrid. Construction is expected to take three months once work begins.
