The Alcorcón City Council has begun climate control works at the Nanas Nursery School, a project aimed at replacing old facilities with an efficient aerothermal system.

The intervention involves installing seven air-to-water units, five of which will be used for climate control and two for domestic hot water production. This system will utilize the existing underfloor heating to maintain a comfortable temperature throughout the year, reducing gas consumption and pollutant emissions.
The project has a municipal budget of 85,806.06 euros. According to municipal sources, the work addresses the need to provide the center with climate control for the summer months and to resolve the permanent breakdown of the boiler that occurred last February.
This work is part of the City Council's plan to provide climate control for all seven municipal nursery schools. Currently, the Gloria Fuertes, Andersen, Campanilla, and Las Flores centers already have these systems, while work at Nanas and Sueños is ongoing. The goal is to complete the upgrade of the Mago de Oz Nursery School before the end of the term.
