Alcorcón is preparing to host the 'Commerce Runway: fashion born in your city' on June 18th, an initiative to boost local businesses in the fashion and accessories sector.

Following the recent Spring and Literature Fair, the municipality of Alcorcón is launching a new initiative to revitalize local commerce. The event, named 'Commerce Runway: fashion born in your city', is promoted by the Municipal Institute for Employment and Economic Promotion (IMEPE).
The event will be held on June 18th in the Plaza de los Príncipes de España, starting at 7:00 PM. It will bring together local fashion and accessory establishments for a public event featuring live music and leisure activities.

"These types of initiatives support our businesses and our neighborhoods. Unlike large multinationals that standardize shop windows everywhere, local tailors and dressmakers bring our streets to life, providing our municipality with quality products and services."

David López · Second Deputy Mayor and Head of Economic Development
Businesses interested in participating can now register, although places are limited. They must complete a form provided by IMEPE and attach a signed declaration of responsibility in PDF format. The registration form and participation guidelines are available on the official website.

"This runway is a way to champion the fashion stores in our neighborhoods, which serve so many residents of Alcorcón daily with proximity. I encourage local establishments to participate and seize this new opportunity to showcase their products."

Carlos Carretero · President of IMEPE
