Alcorcón Celebrates Patron Saint Festivities with 11 Days of Free Concerts

The program includes a wide variety of musical genres and family shows spread throughout the city.

The Patron Saint Festivities of Alcorcón will offer eleven days of free musical performances ranging from urban pop to rock, flamenco, and electronic music, with the Paco de Lucía Auditorium serving as the main venue for the largest concerts.

Alcorcón's festive program will extend over eleven days, featuring a diversity of musical styles for all tastes. From September 3rd to 12th, the city will host performances by artists such as Los 40 Urban, Kiko Veneno, La Pegatina, Pubic Enemy, Los Hermanos Aragón, El Cuarteto de Nos, and Natalia Lacunza, among many others.
The Paco de Lucía Auditorium will be the hub for much of the musical activity, hosting concerts in genres as varied as rock, electronic, and pop. Highlights include the rock festival on Sunday, September 6th, featuring bands like Soul Solid and Rebote, and the Classics of Electronic Music session on Saturday, September 5th with DJ Neil and Dani Colomo.
In addition to concerts, the festivities will include offerings for the whole family, such as children's shows, theater, parades, fireworks, sports, and gastronomic activities. The Plaza Reyes de España will host the Orquesta La Mundial on Thursday, September 3rd, and a Flamenco Night on Tuesday, September 8th with artists like Gabriela Jiménez and Alfonso Salmerón.
Other venues such as the Plaza Jota Mayúscula, Parque Darwin, and the Explanada de Los Castillos will also serve as stages for performances, including a pyromusical show on Tuesday, September 8th and a tribute to Extremoduro on Wednesday, September 9th.
The program is rounded out with offerings for different audiences, such as the Seniors' Tent in Parque de la Paz on Saturday, September 5th, and a drone show on Saturday, September 12th next to the Fairgrounds. Entry to most events is free.
