The festivities, running from September 3rd to 13th, will offer more than 10 days of cultural, sports, and neighborhood activities. The children's and family program will take place in various city locations, including the Puppet Center, Darwin Park, and the Paco de Lucía Auditorium.
The children's and family program will kick off on Thursday, September 3rd, with the street performance “Diminuts” by La Fam Teatre, starting on Los Cantos street and concluding in the Plaza de España, shortly before the festival's opening speech.
On Friday, September 4th, the program continues with “La Osa Estelar” at the Puppet Center and “El cuento del Sapico” on Avenida de la Caza. In the afternoon, the Margarita Burón Center will host the children's concert “Arigato”.
The weekend of September 5th and 6th will feature “La verdadera historia de Caperucita” at the Puppet Center, the circus show “Jazzson’s Five” in Darwin Park, and “Cabaret Ovejuno” at the Puppet Center.
A highlight is the performance by “Los Hermanos Aragón” on Monday, September 7th, at the Paco de Lucía Auditorium, a show paying tribute to songs and characters from childhood. The program will continue with “Volando Vengo”, “Welcome & Sorry”, “B.O.B.A.S.”, and “El Lazarillo y las cosas del comer”.
The festivals will conclude on Friday, September 11th, and Saturday, September 12th, with performances such as “La Chica Charcos” in La Ribota Park, “Instants” in the Príncipes de España Square, and “La Fantástica Banda” in La Ribota Park.
