Alcorcón is filled with free plans this weekend with the arrival of the MUACA Fest circus show at Plaza de Reyes de España and various artistic exhibitions.

Residents of Alcorcón have a packed schedule of free activities for this weekend, combining leisure, culture, and sports. The MUACA Fest, bringing circus art to the town center, stands out.
“El Circódromo“, featuring students from “El Circódromo“, will present a large open-air spectacle at the Plaza de Reyes de España on June 6th and 7th, starting at 7:00 PM. The exhibition will include circus acts, aerial structures, special lighting, and the participation of invited professional artists.
The Centro Cívico Fuente Cisneros is hosting the exhibition ‘Hand-painted Fans’ by local artist Silvia Trujillo throughout June. The exhibition showcases sustainable fashion with hand-painted dresses and accessories, featuring performances by the duo Sintonía, composed of singers Juls and Paula.
Municipal libraries are also joining the offerings with the summer camp ‘A Story Summer’, directed by Nelson Calderón. Aimed at children aged 7 to 12, it will take place at the José Hierro and Almudena Grandes libraries, fostering reading and imagination.
On Saturday, June 6th, the Plaza de Siete Ojos will transform into a stage for ‘La Plaza de los Títeres’ (Puppet Square), a celebration open to all audiences. The event will feature street performances, children's workshops, giant masks, live painting, and a specialized market.
The Museum of Glass Art of Alcorcón (MAVA) presents two exhibitions: ‘Postcards from the colonies of the de la Torre brothers’, which reflects on colonial heritage, and ‘In Suspension’, by Jennifer Parker and José Carlos Espinel, exploring the expressive possibilities of blown glass.
In sports, the Trival Valderas team is playing for a spot in the playoffs final this Sunday, June 7th, at 11:30 AM in La Canaleja.
