The Aranjuez City Council and FASE Foundation have formalized an agreement to launch the psychological support program ‘Necesito Terapia’ (I Need Therapy), aimed at adolescents and their families, with the goal of promoting community health and psychosocial well-being.

On the occasion of World Mental Health Day, celebrated yesterday, both entities have launched this initiative to facilitate access to specialized psychological care, which is often costly. The program aims to prevent and early detect potential emotional difficulties in young people.
Thanks to this agreement, the cost of therapy sessions will be significantly reduced. A session, which normally costs 60 euros, will be subsidized by 50% (30 euros) by FASE Foundation and by an additional 15 euros by the Aranjuez City Council. Thus, families will only have to pay 15 euros per session.
The program includes care for up to a maximum of 100 adolescents, who can benefit from up to 10 individual sessions. Additionally, the agreement includes the organization of psychoeducational activities for families and the celebration of a final event.
In the coming week, details of the various initiatives and the necessary information to access the program and participate in the planned activities will be announced.
