The convention, organized by Un Mundo a Otra Escala in collaboration with the Ayuntamiento de Sevilla la Nueva, continues to establish itself as an entertainment option for young people and adults centered around the universe of comics, cosplay, video games, board games, role-playing, and pop culture.
This year's lineup includes actor Bernard Bullen, known for his role in The Mandalorian, on Saturday, October 17th. On Sunday, October 18th, starting at 12:00 PM, voice actress Lucía Pérez will be present. Pastrana, author of El Multiverso de Lobezno, will also be there, offering a talk on Saturday from 4:30 PM to 5:30 PM.
Fans of special effects (FX) makeup can enjoy a live demonstration by Arturo Balseiro, a Goya Award winner, on Saturday from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM. On the same day, at 6:30 PM, the cosplay contest will take place.
Video games will also have a prominent space with several tournaments. On Saturday, October 17th, competitions for Mario Kart World (12:00 PM - 2:00 PM) and Street Fighter 6 (5:00 PM - 6:30 PM) will be held. On Sunday, October 18th, from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM, the EA SPORTS FC 27 tournament will take place. Participation in these competitions is free, but spaces are limited.
FrikiCon was founded with the aim of providing a meeting point in the southwest of the Comunidad de Madrid for hobbies related to fantasy, manga, anime, cinema, and video games. After several editions since 2022, the convention returns to the municipality this autumn.
The fair will be open on Saturday, October 17th, from 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM, and on Sunday, October 18th, from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM, at the Adolfo Suárez Sports Pavilion, located at Calle Villanueva, 12.
