The Sevilla la Nueva City Council has announced the new activity program aimed at residents over 60 years of age for the final stretch of 2026.

The proposal, presented during the traditional Seniors' Lunch as part of the Patron Saint Festivities, seeks to promote active aging through a varied offer of leisure and social participation.
The activity calendar, which runs from September to December, includes cultural outings such as guided tours to Arévalo and the Monastery of Pelayos. Additionally, the agenda features performing arts proposals, highlighting attendance at the musical El Zorro and a unique experience called La Castafiore, which combines dinner with opera.
In addition to leisure outings, the Department for Seniors has organized training workshops in collaboration with entities such as the Civil Guard, Red Cross, and the La Caixa Foundation. These sessions aim to promote the physical, social, and mental well-being of the participants.
