The forest fire declared in Aldea del Fresno shows a "positive evolution" after being stabilized and downgraded to operational situation 1 of the INFOMA Plan.

A total of 17 fire crews from the Community and forest firefighters worked through the night to extinguish hot spots and secure the perimeter of the fire declared this Wednesday in Aldea del Fresno. The blaze, which was located at 2:30 PM on M-510 kilometer 52, has affected approximately 330 hectares.
Emergencias 112 Comunidad de Madrid reported that the fire is in "positive evolution." After being stabilized around 9:30 PM, the operational situation was downgraded from level 2 to 1. Technical teams will conduct a detailed assessment with sunlight to determine the next steps.

The proximity of the flames to populated areas necessitated the evacuation of the Palomeque, Manga de la Pedrera, and Carbajo urbanizations, as well as several homes in the María Elena urbanization. The fire's advance also led to the closure of several kilometers of the M-510 and M-507 roads, and the suspension of bus line 548 of the Regional Transport Consortium.
The Minister of Environment, Agriculture, and Interior of the Community of Madrid, Carlos Novillo, indicated that the area affected by the flames amounts to approximately 330 hectares.
