The Local Security Board, held this Tuesday in Arroyomolinos, was the setting where the security plan for the Corpus Christi festivities was outlined. During the meeting, the municipality's crime figures were also discussed, highlighting a crime rate lower than the average for the Community of Madrid.
The special operation will involve personnel from the Guardia Civil, Local Police officers, and Civil Protection volunteers. These forces will significantly increase their presence in the most crowded and sensitive areas of the town to ensure the well-being of citizens during the celebrations.

Attendees at the board meeting positively assessed the crime data, which they consider difficult to improve upon compared to previous years. They also noted that these statistics do not include the floating population associated with the intu Xanadú shopping center, which, in their opinion, would make the results even more favorable.
Finally, the sub-delegate of the Government in Madrid reiterated the request to the City Council for the Local Police to integrate into the VioGén system, a key tool for the monitoring and comprehensive protection of victims of gender-based violence. An offer was made to organize a technical meeting to facilitate this integration.
