The investigation began after an electricity company detected a power supply anomaly on a plot of land in the municipality. Civil Guard officers were dispatched to the location and observed tampering with the electrical feed tower.
During the inspection, law enforcement officers detected a strong odor characteristic of marijuana emanating from a nearby house. The presence of several air conditioning units installed on the facade reinforced suspicions, prompting further investigation.
Upon entering and searching the property, three indoor plantations were discovered, housing approximately 1,400 cannabis plants in various stages of flowering.
The owner of the residence was arrested as the alleged perpetrator of a crime against public health and subsequently handed over to judicial authorities.
