Torres de la Alameda Celebrates Patron Saint Festivities with Bull Runs, Orchestras, and Fireworks

Five days of celebration from October 2nd to 6th in honor of Nuestra Señora del Rosario, featuring bullfighting events, music, and activities for all ages.

Torres de la Alameda is gearing up to celebrate its Patron Saint Festivities from October 2nd to 6th in honor of Nuestra Señora del Rosario, with a five-day program blending tradition and fun.

The festivities will kick off on Friday, October 2nd, with a children's bull run and the herding of mini oxen. The evening will feature a gathering of local groups, an opening speech by the league-champion Torres Football School team, and music from Orquesta La Mundial and DJ Guillermo Gil.
Saturday, October 3rd, will offer bull releases from pens, bullfights, a vermouth session with DJ García, and a performance by Pop Rumbera. The afternoon's bullfighting activities will continue with a 'Recortes' competition and another bullfight. The day will conclude with the Salve, fireworks, and the Orquesta Cañón.
Sunday, October 4th, the main day for the Virgen del Rosario, will focus on religious ceremonies with a recited mass and Solemn High Mass. In the afternoon, the procession of the Virgin will be accompanied by the band Sones del Tajuña. The night will feature the Orquesta Venecia, a release of heifers, and the Diana Floreada.
Monday, October 5th, will include a bullfight with un-picadored bulls, bull releases, and bullfights. A highlight will be the aerial mascletá of noise and color by Pirotecnia del Mediterráneo on Federico García Lorca street. The afternoon will present a circus show and the un-picadored bullfight. The night will culminate with the Orquesta Diamante and a local DJ party.
Tuesday, October 6th, the final day, will begin with bull runs and bullfights. The Gran Prix with cows and a final bullfight will mark the end of the taurine events. The festivities will conclude with a fireworks display.
