On September 24, 2026, the Public Employment-Training Program for Professional Activation concluded, an initiative designed to combat depopulation in municipalities.

The main objective of these programs is to activate and qualify participants, aligning initiatives with labor market needs. Priority is given to occupations related to the recovery and promotion of artistic, historical, cultural, or natural heritage, the rehabilitation of urban and natural environments, energy efficiency, renewable energies, climate change mitigation, care for people, artistic and cultural activities, and the implementation of new information technologies.
The subsidy call may determine specific economic activity areas, occupations, and professional certificates, considering job placement possibilities and market evolution. The total subsidy amounted to €246,864.36, allocated for the hiring and training of nine workers over a period of one year.
This program was processed through the Consejería de Economía, Hacienda y Empleo of the Community of Madrid and was financed by funds from the State Public Employment Service (SEPE), distributed for management by the Autonomous Community of Madrid.
