The Madrid Food Bank is organizing its Great Collection on November 13, 14, and 15, 2026, with the goal of collecting 1,800,000 kilos of food and mobilizing citizen solidarity.

The campaign offers various ways to collaborate to help thousands of vulnerable people. Citizens can donate food directly at participating establishments near their homes, make financial donations at supermarket chains, or donate directly to the Madrid Food Bank through its online platform.
In addition to material and financial donations, the initiative calls for volunteer support. 5,000 individuals are needed to dedicate at least four hours of their time to support the campaign, an action that, according to the organization, has a significant impact and can change the reality for approximately 90,000 vulnerable people.
The registration process to become a volunteer is straightforward and can be completed via the campaign's official website, where participants can choose their preferred store and time slot. A dedicated email address for volunteer inquiries is also available: grvoluntarios@bamadrid.org.
