Mornings will begin with floreated dawn calls and brass bands to wake the residents, while nights will be enlivened by rondón and seguidillas in the square, accompanied by a mobile disco. Before the official start, on Monday, August 24, a simultaneous chess match will be held, followed on Tuesday, August 25, by a family Gymkhana and a drawing contest in El Cerrillo, as well as a children's show 'A Walk Through Disney'.
The festivities kick off on Wednesday, August 26, with the opening speech by singer Manu Tenorio at 10:00 PM in the Plaza de España. That same day, there will be a gathering of 'peñas' (local groups), a drone show, and the orchestra Vulkano. On Thursday, August 27, the patron saint's day, there will be an award ceremony, mass and procession with regional dances, and the traditional omelet contest. In the evening, a concert by Henry Méndez at La Pasadilla, alongside the Orquesta Nuevo Versalles.
On Friday, August 28, the Diana Floreada with the charanga Los Parranderos will precede the bull runs (11:00 AM). These will be followed by a charanga, a paella contest, and a bull-trimming contest, and music by the Orquesta Panorama at 11:00 PM at La Pasadilla, followed by rondón, seguidillas, and a mobile disco with Jacobo Ostos.
On Saturday, August 29, the charanga 'La Alternativa' and the bull runs will open the day, which will include a bullfighting festival and a concert by Seguridad Social at 11:00 PM, ending with a mobile disco in the Plaza de España. On Sunday, August 30, bull runs, a children's bull parade, a bullfighting event without picadors, and music by the Orquesta Evasión.
The festivals will conclude on Monday, August 31, with a chocolate and cake breakfast, bull runs, a foam party, a popular calf-fighting event, a Grand Prix, a popular stew, and the Orquesta Séptima Avenida, along with the rondón contest and the traditional Regional Costume Contest.
Mayor Fernando Casado highlighted the preparation of an "exceptional" program for all ages, emphasizing the coexistence and color of the festivals. The government's sub-delegate in Madrid, Pilar Trinidad, and the mayor co-chaired the Local Security Board to coordinate the special security deployment. This operation will include reinforcements from the Civil Guard, Local Police, Civil Protection, and emergency services, with a focus on large-scale events.
As a preventive measure following the summer's fires, traditional fireworks have been canceled and replaced by a drone show. The sub-delegate welcomed this initiative and inquired about the reconstruction efforts in the municipality, one of the 17 affected by the severe fires in the Sierra Oeste.
