The municipality of Redueña celebrated the Corpus Christi festivity on June 14th, featuring the installation of traditional altars and the creation of salt carpets.

The festivities began early in the morning as volunteers prepared a salt carpet in the main square. This year, the color yellow was chosen as the central theme for the design. Additionally, three altars were set up at key locations: one outside the church, another on Carreteras street, and a third one in the town square.
During the Sunday mass, children who received their First Communion this year played a significant role. Dressed in their ceremonial attire, they accompanied the Blessed Sacrament procession, scattering flower petals along the route.
Despite the threat of rain throughout the day, the events proceeded as planned. The first drops of rain did not appear until the procession concluded with the return of the participants to the church.
