The town of La Cabrera will host the Sierra Norte Fair 2026 next weekend, from Saturday, June 27 to Sunday, June 28, offering a diverse program to showcase the region's richness.

Plaza Hermanas Rodríguez Granados will be the epicenter of the fair, which will also extend to the Fonsana/T5 parking lot and Luis Fernández Urosa street. The event, aiming to promote the identity of the Sierra Norte de Madrid, will feature zones dedicated to workshops, stalls, gastronomy, crafts, and activities for the whole family.
Attendees can enjoy a wide offering including local products, crafts, rural tourism, traditional trades, and sustainable projects. The fair is designed as a family experience, with participatory workshops, games, and shows that will introduce the region's natural and cultural heritage to children in a fun way.
Among the free activities scheduled are workshops on nest making, crafts, recycling, ceramics, watercolor, and children's soaps. To refuel, popular meals of 'migas serranas' will be served on Saturday and paella on Sunday, with tickets available from Saturday at 12:00 PM.
The stall area will feature games from the Sierra de Guadarrama National Park, honey and cheese tastings, and a scavenger hunt organized by the Roblemoreno association to learn about the fair's projects. The performance program includes street circus, astronomy, freestyle football demonstrations, live music, and DJ sets.
The fair runs on Saturday from 10:00 AM to 10:00 PM and on Sunday from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM. To facilitate access, public transport is recommended, with line 191 from the Plaza de Castilla interchange, or private vehicle via the N1, with suggested parking on Jiménez Díaz street at San Isidro.
Under the slogan “A place to live,” the fair emphasizes that the Sierra Norte de Madrid is a territory with its own identity where many people reside. The event promotes environmental conservation, responsible consumption, and the local economy, aiming to preserve heritage for future generations.
The organization, managed by the Villa San Roque Tourist Innovation Center, seeks to enhance the visibility and positioning of the region's tourist offerings. Visitors are encouraged to discover the economic, tourist, and cultural potential of the region, practice responsible tourism, and offset their carbon footprint.
