The fair, which took place throughout the day, offered attendees the chance to enjoy a wide selection of books and converse with the present authors. The event was officially inaugurated by the mayoress, Catalina Llorente.

The program of complementary activities included a notable musical performance by Darío Blázquez, a student at the Municipal School of Music, who performed a piano piece. Additionally, a poetry recital was held, and the Reading Club and Grupo Tapas actively participated in various events.

The dining establishments on the Plaza Mayor joined the initiative by offering their 'literary tapas,' pairing local gastronomy with the event's theme.

In the afternoon, the Casa de la Cultura (House of Culture) hosted a meeting with writers. Concurrently, a puzzle contest was organized for the more competitive attendees, and the family show «Gloria Fuertes' Book» entertained the younger ones.

The day concluded with live music by Andrea Blue, after the awards ceremony for the Children's and Adult Micro-story Contest.
