The Audaces Circuit returns to Soto del Real with a program of five shows designed to bring theater, dance, and circus to primary school students. The initiative, which seeks to strengthen the link between culture and education, will take place over the coming months at the CAT, the municipality's cultural center.
Beyond mere observation, students will have a complete cultural experience. The performances will be complemented by workshops, meetings, and activities linked to each show, aiming to spark curiosity, foster creativity, and discover new forms of artistic expression.
The program will begin on October 9 with Historia de una muñeca abandonada (Story of an Abandoned Doll), by Teatro Silfo, for 1st and 2nd graders, addressing themes such as care and consumption. This proposal will be complemented by the workshop “Creación pieza a pieza” (Creation piece by piece).
On October 16, Únicos (Unique), by Date Danza, winner of the 2026 FETEN Award, will explore movement and identity for 3rd and 4th graders. After the performance, a Q&A session with the artists will be held.
Circus will arrive on November 6 with Llar (Home), by Federico Menini, for 5th and 6th graders, reflecting on roots and the concept of home. It will include a juggling workshop.
The program will continue in 2027 with Bobo for early childhood education on February 11 and Fake Reality for secondary school students on March 12, both with their respective complementary activities for students.
The Councilor for Culture, Almudena Sánchez, highlighted that "bringing performing arts closer to children is an investment in culture and also in education." The Soto del Real City Council thus reaffirms its commitment to fostering new audiences from an early age.
