The local administration in Valdemorillo now holds the required permits to carry out works aimed at rehabilitating the access to two of its most important facilities: IES Valmayor and the Eras Cerradas Municipal Sports Center. This initiative seeks to address the current deterioration of the road.
“"Both Canal de Isabel II and the Directorate of Livestock Trails, as well as the General Directorate of Investments and Local Development, attached to the Ministry of Presidency, Justice and Local Administration, have reported, as this is an action included in the Regional Investment Plan (PIR) 2022-2026 of the Community of Madrid."
The project, which is part of the Regional Investment Plan (PIR) 2022-2026 of the Community of Madrid, has an estimated budget of 300,000 euros. The execution period is set at four months once the contract is awarded, with the local executive planning to tender it immediately.
The improvements will extend from the Camino de las Eras to the old cattle trough, which will also be restored. The work will involve removing the deteriorated concrete and injecting a new layer of deactivated concrete. Additionally, the livestock trail area will be delimited with fences, and the entire surroundings will be landscaped.
“"This way, we will have an access in better conditions for regular users and, in general, for all residents of Valdemorillo."
