The Soto del Real City Council has opened registration for its established DJ contest, scheduled for June 27 in the Plaza de la Villa. Interested young participants can register until June 4 via the municipal website.
The event will feature 30-minute sets from selected DJs, alongside performances by three guest DJs. The evening will be hosted and energized by DJ Xinli.

A notable new feature this year is the closing performance by international DJ Selina Labara, known for her electronic and house music, who will perform after the contest. The winner selection process will involve Instagram voting, giving the audience a key role.
The first-place winner will receive a prize valued at 400 euros for sound and image equipment, while the second-place winner will receive 100 euros. Both winners will also have the opportunity to perform at the Soto del Real Patron Saint Festivals on August 3.
The contest, now a highlight of Soto del Real's youth programming, will also include the informative and awareness-raising bus “Drogas o Tú”. It will be stationed at the Parque del Río on Saturday, June 27, and at the municipal swimming pool on Sunday, June 28, offering information and prevention on drug use and healthy habits.
