Navacerrada will host a free family workshop this Thursday on botanical cyanotype, an artistic technique that uses the sun to create blue prints from plants.

The La Maliciosa Social Services Association has organized a new family activity to enjoy and explore the local flora's richness through art. Following events in other towns like Cercedilla and Guadarrama, the workshop will take place on Thursday, June 25, starting at 5:00 PM in Navacerrada.
The day will begin with a short botanical route on Julio González Villasante street to collect natural materials for the workshop. Botanical cyanotype is a photographic method that, through sun exposure and chemicals, produces images in distinctive blue tones, ideal for reproducing the beauty of plants.

"The objective is to develop an experience to experiment and connect with botany through art, creating unique family memories and works."
