The municipality of Soto del Real begins a new cycle of activities called ‘Levanta, Soto’ this Saturday, September 12th, aiming to promote sport, culture, and community participation.

Under the name ‘Levanta, Soto’, a new initiative is launched to unite sport, culture, and community life, offering residents diverse opportunities to enjoy the municipality actively and participatively. The project includes sports, cultural, leisure, family, and nature-related activities.
The inaugural event will take place this Saturday, September 12th. In the afternoon, the Sunset Run will be held, a charity race with two distances (7.5 and 11 km) starting from Plaza de la Villa at 7:00 PM. Fifty percent of the race proceeds will be donated to the Spanish Association Against Cancer.
The evening will continue from 9:00 PM with a concert by Fideo y Cata, a duo offering a fusion flamenco and rumbas performance. They will be joined by percussionist Miguel Reyes.
The Councilor for Sports, Nacho García, highlights that the goal of ‘Levanta, Soto’ is for the municipality to remain an active place where sport and community life play a significant role, expanding the offerings to include culture and leisure.
The City Council invites all residents to participate in this first event, marking the beginning of an ongoing program designed for enjoying Soto del Real.
