Next September 24th marks World Cancer Research Day, a key date to raise awareness about the fundamental role of science in the fight against this disease and the imperative need to boost research to save lives.
To mark this commemoration, the Local Board of the Spanish Association Against Cancer (AECC) in Moralzarzal will set up two information and attention points for residents on Wednesday, September 23rd, from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM. These points will be located at the Plaza de la Constitución, next to the Town Hall, and at the Hogar de los Mayores (Senior Center), at Calle Antón, 40.

Under this slogan, this year's campaign aims to highlight how each scientific advance translates into real solutions, better treatment options, and genuine future opportunities for individuals diagnosed with cancer and their families.
The Spanish Association Against Cancer is working towards an ambitious goal: to achieve a survival rate exceeding 70% by 2030, a challenge for which sustained support for scientific research is considered the most effective and transformative tool.
The Town Hall of Moralzarzal encourages all citizens to visit the information booths, learn about the volunteers' work, and contribute to keeping research a priority for everyone.
