The Guadarrama City Council has announced the opening of registrations for its sports camps and mountain workshops, offering a varied program of activities for children and young people during the months of June and July.

The Sports Department of Guadarrama has launched the new edition of the GK26 Sports Camp, with the pre-registration period open since May 13. This camp, which will run from June 22 to July 10, is aimed at young people born between 2012 and 2017. Activities will take place at the Juan Antonio Cuadrillero Municipal Sports Center, the football field, and the municipal summer pool.
Participants can choose from various disciplines such as badminton, padel, football, futsal, rhythmic gymnastics, dance, and multi-sport. Pre-registrations are made through the municipal website and will be available until May 15. It is important to note that pre-registration does not guarantee a place, and applicants must not have outstanding debts with the Sports Department.

"Pre-registration implies a request for a place, not its guaranteed obtainment. Once the deadline has passed, the data provided in the applications will be verified, and the list of admitted participants will be created."

In addition to the GK26 Camp, a Summer Mountain Workshop is offered, organized by the Guadarrama Adapted Mountain School. This workshop, which will take place from June 22 to July 24, is intended for minors born between 2013 and 2020. Activities include a climbing wall, the Dehesa de Abajo, and the municipal summer pool.
For basketball enthusiasts, Club Estudiantes is organizing the fourteenth edition of its “Basketball in the Sierra” camp in Guadarrama. This camp will be divided into two shifts, from July 13 to 17 and from July 20 to 24, for boys and girls aged 7 to 15. It will include daily basketball sessions, competition, and swimming, with special prices for residents of the town.
