The El Escorial council continues to prioritize municipal safety, equipping the Local Police force with new essential tools. The latest acquisition consists of 15 latest-generation bulletproof vests, designed to protect officers and optimize their daily tasks.
These vests, replacing existing models, are capable of repelling 9mm bullet impacts as well as stab attacks, thanks to their cut and bullet-resistant systems. They represent a significant investment aimed at providing officers with reliable and effective equipment.
In addition to their protective function, the vests feature the Molle system. This modular system allows for the attachment and repositioning of pouches and accessories according to operational needs, improving officer maneuverability and efficiency. The system is based on sewn horizontal straps, compatible with accessories that also have rear straps.
Made from Kevlar, a material known for its ability to absorb and distribute the force of shots or cuts, these vests prevent projectiles or blades from penetrating, thus safeguarding the lives of police personnel.
