On September 1st, registration will open for the workshops to be held at the Municipal Library during the 2026-2027 academic year. Available activities include an Adult Reading Club, a Creative Writing Workshop, and a Children/Youth Reading Club.
The selection process for accessing the free spots will follow a specific calendar. The regular registration period will be from September 1st to September 12th. Applications received after this date will be accepted but placed at the end of the waiting list.
Provisional lists, with a unique number assigned to each participant for the draw, will be published on September 15th. The public draw for spot allocation will take place on September 18th. The draw system will randomly select a number to determine the starting point for assigning spots and the waiting list, proceeding in ascending numerical order and looping back to the beginning if numbers are exhausted.
The final lists of admitted participants, specifying their assigned group and the exact start date of classes (from October 1st), will be published on September 23rd.
Interested individuals can register online by sending the participation form to biblioteca@alpedrete.es, or in person at the library. For the Creative Writing Workshop, in addition to general registration, a level questionnaire must be completed.
Regarding spots and schedules, the Adult Reading Club will have 24 places (2 groups of 12) on Mondays from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM. The Creative Writing Workshop (adults) will also have 24 places (2 groups of 12) on Tuesdays from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM. The Children/Youth Reading Club (ages 7 to 11) will have 12 places in a single group on alternating Thursdays from 6:00 PM to 7:30 PM.
Attendance regulations state that missing 3 sessions without justified cause will result in automatic loss of the spot, given the high demand and limited availability.
