The event, organized by the Youth Department of the Alpedrete City Council, will run from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM and will feature free access, with no prior registration required. The activity is designed for participants aged 5 and up, offering options adapted to different experience levels.
During the festival, attendees can get acquainted with calisthenics through a program including an introduction to the discipline, exhibitions, workshops led by Free Movement professionals, challenges, games, and competitions. The day will also provide recommendations for injury prevention.
Calisthenics, which uses bodyweight for exercises like pull-ups and push-ups, works on aspects such as strength, coordination, and agility. The “El Navajuelo” park, inaugurated in 2024, is equipped with the necessary elements for practicing this discipline, promoting healthy outdoor leisure.
With this second edition, the Alpedrete City Council reaffirms its commitment to calisthenics as a sports and leisure alternative, making it accessible to young people, families, and residents of all ages. Music will be provided during the event, and refreshments will be offered to participants.
