The initiative, part of the Family Tourism program, proposes a route through the surroundings of Arroyo de Trofas. The main objective is to offer attendees a practical insight into the biology and behavior of the herbivores inhabiting this area of the municipality.
A key point of the session will be the explanation of the rutting phenomenon. During this period, which coincides with the beginning of autumn, male deer emit characteristic bellows to attract females, a behavior that can be observed in the natural environment between mid-September and early October.
The departure is scheduled for 09:00 AM and will last approximately two hours. The organizers recommend that participants bring suitable footwear for the terrain, water, and binoculars to facilitate observation. Additionally, it has been confirmed that pets will be welcome to join families during the walk.
