A 46-year-old worker is admitted in critical condition at Puerta de Hierro hospital in Majadahonda after suffering a severe fall of approximately 15 meters while performing maintenance tasks on a residential building's roof.

A 46-year-old man has been critically injured after falling from an approximate height of 15 meters while working on the roof of a residential complex on Mar Egeo street in Majadahonda. The incident occurred late in the morning, during peak working hours under the sun.
Emergency services from the Summa 112 quickly responded to the scene, stabilized the patient, and urgently transported him to the Puerta de Hierro hospital in Majadahonda, where he was admitted in critical condition with severe head trauma.
An ambulance from SERMAJ-PC also participated in the operation. A nurse from this service highlighted the good coordination: "SERMAJ-PC Majadahonda also intervened, assessing and attending to the patient until the first SUMMA unit, a nursing SVA, arrived 20-30 minutes later. Thanks to everyone! Good team!".
The Local Police of Majadahonda and the Civil Guard have initiated proceedings to clarify the exact circumstances of the accident. According to reports, the worker was performing maintenance tasks on the roof and, given the nature of the fall, "it does not appear he was secured".
The unions CC.OO and USO have requested information to investigate the work accident, as it is unclear whether the incident occurred in a residential complex or a private villa, or if it was due to negligence by the contracting companies or a fortuitous slip by the worker.
