The registration process for the 524 Plan Vive homes in Boadilla del Monte began on May 11, with the expectation that the properties will be ready by summer. These homes are part of a public-private initiative promoted by the regional government to expand the supply of affordable rental housing.
“"Boadilla del Monte will soon join the ten localities that already have affordable rental promotions thanks to this public-private collaboration promoted by the regional government."
The project in Boadilla del Monte includes 109 one-bedroom homes, 246 two-bedroom homes, and 169 three-bedroom homes, 21 of which are adapted for people with reduced mobility. Future tenants will enjoy facilities such as a swimming pool, multi-sport court, gym, children's playground, and parking spaces.
To apply for one of these homes, interested parties must be of legal age and have Spanish nationality or legal residency in the country. Priority will be given to those registered or employed in Boadilla del Monte for at least three years. Additionally, the home must be the habitual residence, and applicants cannot own another property. Income limits are based on the IPREM, and rent payments cannot exceed 35% of the total annual income.
The autonomous government has delivered a total of 5,363 properties in localities such as Alcalá de Henares, Alcorcón, and Getafe through this program. It is anticipated that by the end of 2026, nearly 3,000 additional homes will be completed in various parts of the region.
