The cultural week in Galapagar kicks off this Wednesday, September 23, with a packed schedule of activities extending until next Saturday, September 26. The Ricardo León Library will host several events, including the exhibition 'Human Rights in Iran', which can be visited until October 6.
Workshops are the highlight of Wednesday's program. At Punto Joven, from 6:00 PM to 7:30 PM, 'Personalize Your School Supplies' will be offered for young people aged 12 to 17. Simultaneously, at the Ricardo León Library, from 6:30 PM to 8:15 PM, the workshop 'Essential Ingredients for Writing a Good Story' will take place with free admission.
On Thursday, September 24, the Ricardo León Library will host a new session of the film and reading cycle 'Masters of Terror', starting at 6:00 PM, aimed at those over 16. Admission is free until capacity is reached.
On Friday, September 25, the program diversifies. Punto Joven will offer the workshop 'Scientific Laboratory' (5:30 PM - 8:30 PM) for young people aged 10 to 17. At 6:00 PM, the Ricardo León Library will present the storytelling and family workshop 'Max and Jovi in Beijing'. Shortly after, at 7:30 PM, the book 'The Quixote of the Desert' will be presented with live music.
Friday's events will conclude with the Funeral Mass for deceased brotherhood members at 8:00 PM in the Parish of Our Lady of the Assumption, as part of the Patron Saint Festivities.
On Saturday, September 26, the Patron Saint Festivities will continue with the Septenary and the Feast in honor of Our Lady of Solitude, including a Floral Offering and the Holy Mass. In the afternoon, Punto Joven will organize 'Giant Games' (5:30 PM - 8:30 PM), and the Plaza de la Constitución will host the IX Encounter of Music Bands at 6:00 PM.
The week will culminate on Saturday at 7:00 PM at the Jacinto Benavente Theater with the family circus show 'Under the Sky's Tent' by Eirenê.
