These actions are carried out at various points in the town, in a context marked by the proximity of high temperatures. Clearing work covers municipal plots, parks, sidewalks, and forest areas, where municipal services apply specific techniques for cleaning and vegetation control.
Among the most relevant actions is the clearing in the East Park Sports Plot using specialized forestry machinery. This is complemented by pruning and tree sanitation work in areas such as Soto de Viñuelas, South Park, and Central Park.

In this context, the City Council also plans to begin cleaning the Bodonal Stream in the coming weeks. These tasks will focus on conditioning the channel to promote its conservation.
The Consistory has reminded owners of urban plots of their obligation to maintain them in adequate conditions of cleanliness and sanitation, in accordance with the current municipal ordinance. Through a decree, it is established that before June 1, 2026, these spaces must be cleared of herbaceous and shrub vegetation. This measure seeks to reduce the risk of fires during the period of greatest danger, in line with the INFOMA Plan of the Community of Madrid.
