The Dehesa Boyal Municipal Nature Center in San Sebastián de los Reyes will offer a free astronomy introduction activity on Sunday, May 10, aimed at families and adults interested in the cosmos.

This initiative seeks to bring space closer to those who wish to better understand the universe, answering common questions about stars, planets, black holes, and shooting stars. The session is designed for individuals with no prior knowledge, providing an accessible understanding of how the cosmos works.
The activity will be structured into two parts. A first theoretical block will cover fundamental concepts such as the difference between stars, planets, and satellites, the formation of the solar system, and the mystery of black holes and shooting stars.
The second block will include a practical workshop, specially designed for children aged seven and older, allowing younger participants to interact dynamically with the learned content. The session will take place between 10:30 AM and 12:30 PM, offering a morning plan compatible with the rest of the day.

"The activity is designed so that anyone, without prior knowledge, can understand how the universe around us works. There's no need to have ever read a science book or to be able to distinguish Mars from Jupiter with the naked eye. The starting point is zero, and that's precisely what makes it interesting."
