San Sebastián de los Reyes recovers this Saturday, September 12, its Agri-food Market at the Glorieta Lagos de Covadonga, featuring proximity products from the Community of Madrid.

The town of San Sebastián de los Reyes hosts this Saturday, September 12, a new edition of its Agri-food Market. This monthly event, held at the Glorieta Lagos de Covadonga in the Tempranales neighborhood, brings together producers from the Community of Madrid to offer local food products directly to consumers.
The initiative's main objective is to promote the consumption of local products and increase the visibility of the Madrid agri-food sector. Residents can purchase a varied selection of foods directly from farmers and producers, fostering a shorter and more transparent supply chain under the slogan ‘From the Dehesa to your Table’.
The market's offerings will include a wide range of products such as cheeses, honey, legumes, fruits, fresh pasta, and other quality foods. Special emphasis will be placed on products bearing the ‘M de Madrid’ seal or other certifications that guarantee their quality and food safety.
The City Council of San Sebastián de los Reyes organizes this activity as part of its efforts to promote local commerce, responsible consumption, and products made in the region. The event will not only allow for shopping but also for attendees to get to know the professionals in Madrid's agri-food sector up close.
The market will be open from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM. In addition to product sales, the day will feature complementary activities for attendees. A musical performance is scheduled for 12:30 PM, and a raffle of local products will also take place.
This monthly encounter with proximity products will be repeated on the second Saturday of each month in Tempranales, establishing itself as a meeting point for consumers and producers in the area.
