The blaze broke out in a car parked on the first basement level (-1) of a garage located on Calle Amistad. Seven units from the Community of Madrid Fire Department were dispatched to the scene to extinguish the flames and ventilate the building.
As a precautionary measure, residents of the complex were temporarily evacuated while emergency services were on site. The fire was extinguished without any personal injuries.
In addition to the firefighters, officers from the Alcobendas Local Police, National Police, and Red Cross personnel were involved in the operation.
