The Community of Madrid has allocated more than 625,000 euros to the renovation of public spaces in Cobeña, enhancing green areas, sports facilities, and leisure zones.

The municipality of Cobeña has seen a significant upgrade in its infrastructure thanks to a regional investment exceeding 625,000 euros. These funds have been directed towards the renewal of public spaces, green areas, sports facilities, and recreational zones.
The Deputy Minister of Presidency and Local Administration, José Antonio Sánchez, recently visited some of the completed works aimed at enhancing various parts of the municipality. Notably, the construction of a skate and rollerblading park, along with a bicycle circuit, projects that have required an investment of over 268,000 euros under the Regional Investment Program (PIR) 2022-2026.
Additionally, another 357,000 euros from the Beautification Plan, part of the ‘Pueblos con Vida’ program, have facilitated the refurbishment of three key areas within the town. These interventions have focused on the vicinity of the cemetery, the green space on Iris street, and the recreational area of Travesía Alcalá-Torrelaguna.
The works included the renovation of pathways, improvements to children's play areas, and the installation of new urban furniture and lighting, all aimed at enhancing the usability and appearance of these public spaces.
