Alcobendas City Council has launched an aid plan endowed with one million euros to support small businesses and hospitality establishments within the municipality.

This initiative aims to mitigate the financial difficulties faced by local shops. The grants are designed to cover up to 70% of current expenses, with a maximum limit of 1,000 euros per beneficiary meeting the established requirements.
Individual entrepreneurs and small businesses with fewer than 50 employees and a turnover of less than 10 million euros are eligible. Subsidized expenses include local rent, mortgage payments linked to the acquisition of the premises, and electricity supply costs.
The application period will be open from July 7 to July 16. The entire process must be completed online through the municipal website. The council has also enabled an email address to resolve any queries regarding the procedure.
To assist with the application process, a virtual information session has been scheduled for June 30 at 3:00 PM. During this meeting, the necessary documentation and the steps to complete the application will be explained.
These new grants are compatible with other existing municipal support programs, such as those aimed at modernizing tourism and hospitality companies. The measure is part of a broader economic revitalization strategy that includes promotional campaigns, digitalization programs, and consumer vouchers to encourage local shopping.
