The incident, which resulted in no personal injuries, did cause considerable damage to two apartments located on the top floor of the building. Additionally, several vehicles parked nearby sustained material damage from the impact. Part of the metal structure was left precariously hanging from the building's facade after the fall.

Álvaro Macías, the on-duty officer for the Madrid Fire Department, described the operation as a "tedious" intervention due to the instability of the affected area. Firefighters utilized a heavy-duty crane to bring the antenna down onto the building's roof. This maneuver eliminated the risk of further falling and stabilized the structure, ensuring the safety of residents and the surrounding area.
