The incident occurred around 10:00 PM at the intersection of Gran Vía and Calle del Clavel. According to information provided by Emergencias Madrid, the officer lost control of the vehicle while traveling through an area designated for emergency services, striking the three pedestrians.
SAMUR medical teams arrived at the scene to provide emergency care, following initial aid from bystanders. The 26-year-old victim, who sustained the most serious injuries, was transported to Hospital Clínico San Carlos with a potentially serious prognosis due to a possible femur fracture.
The other two victims suffered minor contusions and also received medical assistance. The police officer involved in the accident was also injured and taken to a hospital for treatment.
