A couple from San Fernando de Henares has received an additional compensation of 89,000 euros following a favorable ruling by the Superior Court of Justice of Madrid regarding the issues caused by Metro Line 7B.

The mayor of San Fernando de Henares, Javier Corpa, expressed his satisfaction upon learning of the first favorable court decision for residents affected by the works on Metro Line 7B. Corpa congratulated the residents and highlighted the support received from the community.
The judicial decision benefits a couple residing on Rafael Alberti street, who had already received an initial compensation of 272,000 euros. After appealing the amount, arguing for additional concepts, the court has granted them an extra 89,000 euros.
The mayor acknowledged the work of the Presa – Rafael Alberti Association, describing it as "opening the way and a path of hope" for those affected. He also thanked the efforts of other groups and entities that have fought to bring visibility to the situation in recent years.
Corpa reiterated the demand for solutions from the regional government, which he considers the primary authority responsible for the subway infrastructure. "We will continue defending San Fernando de Henares," he stated, pointing out that there are still homes and public spaces to be repaired and rebuilt.
