The incident occurred around 16:10, when a train struck an individual upon entering the station. According to Adif, the event forced the suspension of rail services between Atocha and Laguna stations.
During the service disruption, Renfe established alternative shuttle services connecting Humanes to Atocha, and Móstoles-El Soto to Laguna. The remainder of the line experienced delays and service alterations throughout the afternoon.
Following the removal of the body and the resolution of the incident, rail traffic was reinstated at approximately 18:30. The line's operations are currently undergoing a progressive recovery to restore full service frequency.
